The Battlefield - The Bride

I looked up and smiled at God he smiled back. It was then that I noticed something I hadn't seen before. It was a woman. I didn't know if she had just appeared or had been there for a while or had even been there all along and I
just didn't see her. I pondered this in my heart and thought that she had been there from the very beginning I just didn't see her. But how, I looked up at the woman she was the most beautiful and elegant woman I had ever seen in my whole life, how on earth or heaven for that matter had I missed her, I was stunned.

She had a grace about her that I had never seen in any woman before, it was dazzling SHE WAS DAZZLING. I wondered who she was but she didn't remind me of anyone I knew, latter on I would come to realise exactly who she was but for now she was just a mystery.

She was of average build and height. She was dressed all in white like a bride with flowing long straight dark hair that seemed to cling and curve around her beautiful body. I looked into her eyes to see what colour they were, I realized that they were dark and broody. Just as my eyes began to focus on the colour they would then seem to change colour. They were blue then brown then green. In the end I gave up trying to figure out the colour of her eyes. She turned and we looked at each other eye to eye, that was it I was hooked. I ascended the few steps leading up to the throne to take a better look. I stopped then looked at her again. I was oblivious to anything else going on around me. I gazed, still I couldn't see what the colour of her eyes where, they certainly were the most amazing pair of eyes I had ever seen. She then took my hands in hers. Just then a voice spoke...

"This is my bride" he paused for a while, " and YOURS"

"This is my Church and yours."

"I want to be bonded to her and I want you to be bonded to her too."

An angel awoke me I asked him what had happened, he told me that I would be told and find out eventually. He told me to get dressed and to be ready to go into battle. I wondered what he meant, but did what he said without questioning him.

I met Jesus at the entrance to the palace with my brothers, we walked past the angels that guarded the entrance and followed Jesus. We came to the edge of the battle scene and stopped, we all looked at each other, there was a feeling of intrepedation at going back to the battle scene, we all looked around nervously until all our eyes were fixed on Jesus. He was not looking nervous, quite the opposite, he gave off a look that filled us with confidence. He was looking ahead of himself; his eyes fixed on something moving on the horizon. He then began to start walking, we followed.

We walked into the battle scene and then He stopped in the middle of the battle scene, we stooped with Him. I looked up to see our enemy standing opposite us, there number was thousands upon thousands. They all resembled the stature of angels yet where the angles where pure, these were scarred and smeared in various shades of grey and black. One of them stepped forwards; Jesus beckoned me to go forwards. I met this figure in the middle. He presented me with a box and then returned. I took the box and opened it, inside was a golden key; it had a label on it marked ‘authority‘;. I shut the box and looked up to see an amazing sight. Here we were just 12 men and Jesus against an army of thousands upon thousands and the enemy was leaving, they headed for the hills heads lowered. I returned in stunned disbelief at what I had witnessed.

Jesus then spoke "This is the key of authority, the key I gave to Adam in the Garden of Eden, The key I gave to Peter and the Key I have given to you my Church. It is marked authority, because IT IS AUTHORITY. It is the authority my Farther gave to me which I have given to you to conquer all adversity and evils, your church brethren gave it to the enemy. But the enemy thought they had won, they came to this battle to destroy you the Church, yet they did not utterly defeat you, anywhere where two or more gather in my name I will be there. These here on my battlefield didn’t gather in my name but their own names. Yet you remained a remnant unified in my name, wherever my Church does this you will be victorious no matter the adversity that awaits you. That‘s why you were able to defeat this horde of evil here with just the twelve of you because I was here with you. Numbers don‘t matter, what matters is I am here and I am with you. Always, as long as you are here for the right reasons. You must understand this and in time you will.

The Church numbering thousands upon thousands gathered here to fight for what appeared to be my cause, because they didn‘t fight for anything but that what comes from pride and selfishness they lost. Yet you because you humbled yourselves and sought my Father's face and not your own glory you have won with just the twelve of you."

We walked back to the edge of the battle scene and stopped. I slumped to my knees again like the first time, it was so very difficult to take in everything that I had just seen that it was unbearable, I started to weep as we looked at the bodies in front of us, too many to count. Emotionally it was all too much to take.

We may just have won some sort of battle, but at what cost? We all sobbed, after a while our tears formed a pool which gradually began to trickle into the battle scene in front of us. Gradually as this pool turned from being a trickle into a stream some of the soldiers that were lying there dead began to arise. Slowly more and more seemed to be coming back to the life.
