The Battlefield - The Throne and the Room

"Yes it right for you to do this, yet first before you leave this place for good look around."

I looked at the scene around the throne there were many lying around the throne who looked strong soldiers; I wondered why they had gathered around the throne, especially to the man sitting round it. They were lying on the ground like a formation of dominoes that had been knocked down, they looked highly organised.

I checked their armour; it was like the man on the thrones yet not quite so carnal yet they appeared to have no wounds.

Jesus beckoned us to come to him; we drew near to him. He smiled and then turned to head towards the palace. We picked up the throne and followed him.

We followed the Lord as he made his way to the palace. We reached the edge of the battlefield returning to the place where I first saw him; we carried on walking towards the palace.

As we reached our journeys end we stooped and put the throne down. I looked up at the most spectacular building I had ever seen, it was wonderous. From the distance it looked large but up close it was larger than large, words could not describe it, it dominated the scenery around like a factory chimney dominates a beautiful country scene, yet this domination was different in that it made the surrounding environment look grotesque, I looked around, to find to my amazement the surrounding area was like the garden of Eden or at least how I imagined it to be, it was amazing yet the palace in front of me was so more amazing than this paradise looked extremely dull. It was made of a pure, spotless white that can only be described as holy, it wasn‘t really white, and then again it wasn‘t really silver or gold or anything. It seemed to shine then again there seemed to be no shining effect coming from it, it was dazzling and puzzling at the same  time. It reminded me of the Taj Mahal yet it made it seem like a Lego building that had been made by a two-year-old.

It was surrounded by clear water that I could see ran from a waterfall not more than a mile away. I looked at the waterfall it was huge, the water pounding of it made a spectacular noise as it hit the pool of water below, yet the Holy Palace made it look like a trickle falling into a small puddle in contrast. There was a bridge that led to a grand entrance. Jesus walked towards it; we picked up the throne and followed him.

The entrance was guarded by numerous angels they bowed to acknowledge Jesus as he walked past them, He smiled at them, they to bowed to us as we walked past, I lowered my head to them as they did this to acknowledge them to, they didn’t seem like the type you would want to meet down a dark alley at night, in fact there appearance frightened me. Jesus stooped at the top of some steps; He
smiled at us as and waited for us to catch up. He could see the look of horror on our faces, as we were becoming more and more overawed with what we were seeing.

"Don‘t worry about them, there here to serve us, I know they frighten you. You‘ll just have to get used to them."

I gulped at the thought that this would become an ordinary experience here. We entered a hallway marked by pillars on each side that went on for what seemed like forever. The pillars at the back looked like matchsticks until they disappeared out of sight. We walked down the hallway and we soon arrived at a huge set of double doors, which seemed to automatically open, as we approached.

We entered a huge circular room, which looked like it had no walls as the room was so big you couldn‘t actually see the side of the walls; this was the throne room of God. From the central floor there were steps surrounding it that led upward on these steps were thrones, on which were seated thousands upon thousands of angels. We walked up with the throne to the centre of the room. In front of us was a man, he was more regal looking, taller and well built than the angels which seemed to surround him. Jesus walked up to the man, who descended from the steps and greeted him. We took the throne and placed it in its rightful place at the top of the steps. The man then ascended up the steps and seated himself on the throne.

Jesus smiled to him, then glanced at us, he beckoned angels to come forward.

Jesus said to us "This here is my Father's House, it is a house of many rooms, room for all. There is a room here for each of you. Here you will find rest for your Souls, for those here do not dwell in the palace that you see but in the presence of my Farther and his word."

Although matters had improved somewhat we were all still shaken and tired from our experience. Jesus instructed the angels to lead us to our rooms where we needed rest and healing. They did this and we followed.
