I suddenly awoke and I could see a tree. My eyes were dim and still adjusting to the light as if I'd been in a deep dream. I recognised the tree as the same tree I'd seen many years before. I could see it alight as if it was on fire. I looked about me and again I could see myself in a flat valley afar I could see I was surrounded by hills. Or mountains there was no way of knowing exactly how far they were I just knew they surrounded me on every side though what looked to me like large hills could in fact be mighty mountains. I looked roundabout me and the ground was very familiar yet was strangely different. I cold see lush grass growing freely in what looked to be a large park. I recognised other people to doing various things in this lush park though they were not so close as I could see exactly what I was doing or hear exactly what they were saying.
I looked up again at the tree and stood to my feet, my sight now fully functioning. I could see the tree was not on fire but was in fact in full blossom, tall and magnificance and apart from the grass and the people was the only thing in the park. The tree was as wide as it was tall and just as it's long trunk shot up heavenwards proudly displaying it's splendour also magnificent branches shot of to the side in every direction providing shade, shelter and even a home to those aroundabout it. I could see the sun dazzlingly bright through the trees and as the sun shone through the follage of the tree I could see many different leaves of all shapes, sizes and colours that made the tree initially look like it had been on fire. The tree dazzled me and at times blinded me as the rays of the sun both bounced of the leaves in all different directions and as they blew in the wind shots of light would break through the tree.
A figure stood before me. I had some idea of who it was though didn't want to say anything as I dumbly stared back at the person starring at me. He gave a wry smile as if he could read my thoughts to which I gave a wry smile back for what could have been eternity we both stood still and yet at the same time it felt like time was sped up almost to the speed of light. Or maybe it was the other way around, I felt like maybe with the wind calmly blowing through the tree and the rustling sound of the leaves time could have indeed been almost standing still for eternity in slow motion. I just kept smiling as I didn't know what to do and just stood there trying to give the figure a look like I knew who he was and that he knew and what he knew but didn't really know anything at all and hoped he didn't know or even notice despite the fact that he obviously did because he was Jesus.
A million images came racing through my mind all at once of what I'd seen before, coming so quickly it was hard to recollect each individual one. I had been here before many times in fact and you could say I had lived with these images for over 10 years and now I was back, here! Exactly the same place where it all began many years ago. Back to the start, yet this place what not that place. Where there once had been only a battlefield of death now there was a place of life. This place was for want of a better word a place 'blinging' with life. It was not however crude or over the top it was beautiful. I wondered after so many years how come it had grown so beautiful. I know the days had been many but still to go from that unto this should have taken many generations, yet what seemed impossible to achieve by many had been achieved within less time than that.
Ignoring my thoughts he beckoned me and said
Come I must show me what you are here to see.
